For my magazine the background is important for me and so to help me with my magazine I decided to go to one of my favorite locations where I know a lot of graffiti is that looks really effective. Brick Lane. As my magazine is for indie music, this area Brick Lane is where individuals lie. Their style and music is shown here and I thought I could relate this to my magazine. Here are some pictures of me standing in front of different graffiti backgrounds.
They look really good and bright which will make my magazine unique to everybody else's, plus the audience can relate to the area where the image is from.
By researching these backgrounds, It has pointed me to the right direction and has helped me develop my ideas further.
is it your intention to create a magazine for a limited audience? your reference to the audience being able to relate to Brick Lane would suggest you are only considering people from London - is that your intention? in which case consider who might publish for such a niche market.
