I will be dressed differently for each shoot to see what the theme could be, which will revolve around these images. I used various camera angles to capture a certain look for my magazine, I fond that the close up portrait shots to be more successful as it brings you closer with the image and captures attention.
Photoshoot 1#
Here I was aiming to get the more rock look than Indie to see what It looked like. I did my makeup dark and pale to capture this genre. And dressed in an yellow Acid top and a short skirt to add titillation.
Photoshoot 2#
Here my look seems to be more conservative yet fashionable and simple. I found that my hair made the images stand and give it that edge, but I found that the images weren't Indie enough.
Photoshoot 3#
Here I wore Indie clothes, a green checkered shirt, led zeplin top and bright red converse. I put speakers around me and CD's to get the feel of music.
Photoshoot 4#
Here I used the Ipod as a prop and thought it looked young and modern. I lightened and contrasted the colours on the images to give it that cartoon look.
Overall the four photoshoots went well and I think the Indie look was conveyed in most of the shoots. I find that shoot one was the most successful. This is because my makeup and clothes really worked well when I lightened and contrasted the colours. Also I find it to have that rock and roll look about it aswell, also the pictures have an attitude that I wanted for my magazine. My photo-shoot research was successful.
